GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(For the rental of motor vehicles)

These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the rental agreement.

1. Contracting parties
Lessor:

(hereinafter the "Lessor")
Renter:
A natural person or legal entity who submits a rental request/booking and/or enters into a rental agreement with the Lessor (hereinafter the "Renter").
2. Subject of the agreement
The Lessor grants the Renter the temporary use of the motor vehicle specified in the rental agreement.
3. Rental period
The rental is agreed for the period stated in the agreement.
One rental day = 24 hours from the time the vehicle is collected.
A delay exceeding 60 minutes will be charged as an additional full rental day.
4. Security deposit
Upon collection of the vehicle, the Renter must pay a refundable security deposit of CZK 10,000.
The deposit will be refunded within 3 business days after the vehicle is returned, provided that no damage or other claim of the Lessor is identified.
The Lessor is entitled to retain the deposit until any claim or damage event is fully resolved.
5. Territorial restriction
The vehicle may be used only within the territory of the European Union, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A breach of this provision may result in loss of insurance coverage and the Renter's full liability for any resulting damage.
6. Insurance and liability
The vehicle is insured as follows:
- Mandatory third‑party liability insurance (liability for damage to third parties)
- Comprehensive (collision) insurance with the Renter's deductible of CZK 10,000 or 10% of the amount of the damage (whichever is higher)
Insurance does not cover:
- Damage to the vehicle interior
- Loss of keys
- Misfuelling (refuelling with the wrong fuel)
- Damage caused intentionally or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Damage caused by an unauthorized driver
In these cases, the Renter is liable for the damage in full.
7. Vehicle condition
The Renter must return the vehicle in the same technical and visual condition as when collected, taking normal wear and tear into account.
The Lessor is entitled to carry out an additional technical inspection of the vehicle within 7 days of its return.
8. Fuel
The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the time of collection.
Otherwise, the Renter will be charged for refuelling plus an administrative fee of CZK 500.
9. Traffic offences and fines
The Renter is responsible for all traffic offences, fines, and administrative proceedings arising during the rental period.
An administrative fee of CZK 1,000 will be charged for processing each case.
10. Prohibited conduct
It is prohibited to:
- Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Hand over the vehicle to another person without the Lessor's consent
- Use the vehicle for illegal activities
- Use the vehicle for racing or testing
Any breach of these conditions results in the Renter's full liability for all damages.
11. Early termination
If the vehicle is returned early, the Renter is not entitled to a refund of any part of the rental fee unless agreed otherwise.
12. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent court in the Czech Republic according to the registered office of the Lessor.
